Quarter 4--Week 7

Dear First Grade Families,

Can you believe that we are already this far into the 4th Quarter.  We only have 12 days of school left. Last week in first grade we discovered how light travels through objects. We learned that some objects are transparent, translucent or opaque.  We described spring using our 5 senses including things we see, smell and hear during the spring.
This week we will be starting our final report card assessments. Your child will still have their nightly reading book to read but they may not have questions. Our spelling pattern this week is ook words including (book, crook, cookie, cooking). This will be our last week of spelling.

Have a great week!!!!
