Tuesday is almost here...
Excitement is in the air! School is about to begin! During the first few weeks of school we spend a lot of time practicing our routines and building our community!! The first graders will begin their first project which includes learning about and introducing each other to the class. We will work on questioning, writing and speaking and listening skills. Our Tribes agreement that we will focus on this week will be Attentive/Whole body listening.
Every Thursday Afternoon...
The first graders of room 2 will have P.E. with Mrs. Heather W. Please make sure your first grader wears appropriate shoes on this day.
Math New From Miss Garcia...
Dear 1st Grade Families,
We are excited to be working with your first graders. Your children will come to us each morning for Math Class from 9:30 - 11:15. This week we will have homework starting on Wednesday night. Most students usernames have stayed the same (first name last name 233) or (first initial last name 233) or (first name last name initial 233). Students should not be working on math homework for more than 15 minutes OR more than 10 problems...whichever comes first!
